Moving school can feel very daunting for many young people. This can be particularly challenging for students who have to leave one high school to join another, having already established friendship groups and routines, and that's before getting to grips with new academic courses, and even teaching styles.
We are really focused on helping students making the transition from any school to St Bede's as smooth and as reassuring as we can.
Any students joining St Bede's, in any year group, can expect a warm welcome from all staff and students.
New students are typically given a buddy or two to help them become familiar with life at St Bede's, normally from their new tutor group.
